The Aardvark Jazz Orchestra would like to share this bit of good news as the New Year begins:
Large Ensemble Releases
The New York City Jazz Record has selected Aardvark’s “Faces of Souls” CD [Leo Records] as one of five recordings in their “Best of 2020” Large Ensemble Releases category.
The other bands are the Fire Orchestra, the Jacob Garchik Ensemble, the Gard Nilssen Supersonic Orchestra, and the Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra.
This is very fine company to be associated with, and I’m delighted that our work has been recognized by this important publication.
