RECENT: The Aardvark Jazztet, featuring members of the legendary Aardvark Jazz Orchestra performed two concerts last summer in NH. The Jazztet features:
- Mark Harvey, trumpet and music director
- Arni Cheatham, saxophones
- Peter H. Bloom, flutes and saxophones
- John Funkhouser, piano;
- Jesse Williams, string bass;
- Harry Wellott, drums
Attendees enjoyed music by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Cole Porter and other jazz greats. They also enjoyed Mark Harvey’s Claremont Suite (written for the city’s 250th anniversary in 2014) and also the premiere of Mark Harvey’s SGS (Saint Gaudens Studio), commissioned for the occasion.
